Calls make it easy for parents to stay connected to their children even when they’re apart. It also creates court-admissible documentation of contact with the child and any conversations between co-parents.
Calls FAQ
What security does Calls have?
The Calls feature in OurFamilyWizard ensures a high level of security by implementing several measures. Consent is mandatory for both parents to use audio or video calls. OurFamilyWizard uses a closed calling system only allowing calls to take place between parents. Additionally, calls are made over the internet without sharing a personal phone number.
Do you need to share your phone number to use Calls?
No, phone numbers are not shared in OurFamilyWizard. All calls take place over the internet so co-parents’ information is never shared.
Can a user call their co-parent at any time?
No, both parents must consent to a type of call (audio or video) as a prerequisite to use Calls. Parents can turn consent off at any time they do not want to be reached.
What information is documented in the Calls report?
The Calls report provides a comprehensive overview of call-related information. It includes:Who can a co-parent connect with via Calls?
Parents can only call the other parent on their OurFamilyWizard account. Co-parents can use their account to facilitate a child-to-parent conversation.
Can co-parents see each other's consent to Calls?
Yes, a co-parent can see their co-parent’s consent to each call type.
Will calls be recorded?
Only parents on the Max subscription package can choose to record and transcribe calls they initiate. Calls made by any parent will be documented in the Activity Log which includes details like when calls were made and how long they were.
